What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia and ligaments in the body. The more we work our fascial system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight our bodies become as we age.

The practice is mainly floor based postures held for varying timescales (min 1 minute - max 7 minutes) and can be supported with straps, block, bolsters and blankets.


What is Seasonal Yin Yoga?

Seasonal Yin Yoga is a series of 5 specifically designed workshops that will be running throughout the year, each workshop is 2 hours and will be themed on the time of the year we are in. Each workshop is designed to energise and balacne our Meridian line system and themed around the five elements on the particular season we are in. The five transformational elements of mind, body and emotion are - wood, fire, earth, metal and water (T.C.M.) .


Spring Yin Workshop

Themed on the wood element , liver and gallbladder meridian, this workshop focuses on the aliveness of spring, the rising of new energy, vigour and strength. There will also emphasis on opening, stretching, flexibility and rooting.

Location: Studio 42, Chatham Place, RG1 7AR Reading, Berkshire, England 

Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.

If you need to cancel email at least 48 hours before the workshop and the amount will be credited to your account. Late cancellations (less than 48 hours) cannot be refunded unless caused by a proven emergency.
