16th June: Summer Yin Yoga and Gong Bath, 2.30p.-5.30pm

2.30 – 4.00pm Summer Yin Yoga with Lilli

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia and ligaments in the body. The more we work our fascial system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight our bodies become as we age.

The practice is mainly floor based postures held for varying timescales (min 1 minute - max 7 minutes) and can be supported with straps, block, bolsters and blankets.

 

4 – 4.30 pm - Break and light refreshments.

4.30 – 5.30pm Gong Bath with Jarek and Beata

Gongs are powerful instruments which promote relaxation and mindfulness, but most of us encounter them rarely.

The session will be run by spiritual healers Jarek and Beata who will invite you to lie down on your yoga mat in savasana pose, with a pillow and blanket, and immerse yourself in the sea of sound produced by the gongs.

Using the sounds of the gongs Beata and Jarek will help you relax and reach a deeper state of meditation, allowing your innermost thoughts to come to consciousness.
