SELF MYOFASICAL RELEASE WORKSHOP with Rebecca Malcome

Self myofascial release (SMR) uses a small amount of equipment to help massage knots and tightness in the muscles and fascia (the thin casing that surrounds muscles). It can :

• improve flexibility, function, performance, and reduce injuries
• physically de-stress your body so it can work more efficiently
• increase blood flow, which helps for faster recovery from workouts
• reduces soreness from workouts

You may have seen people at the gym or online using foam rollers and tennis balls but been too intimidated to try for yourself when you don’t know what you’re doing. In this workshop you will learn different techniques to self massage safely, effectively and as painlessly as possible.
